NSW:Three pedestrians,driver hurt in Sydney hit-and-run inciden

SYDNEY, Aug 14 AAP - Three women and a man were injured in a hit-and-run on Sydney's
North Shore early today.

Police said two women, aged in their 30s, were knocked down by a Volvo car that did
not stop, as they walked along Military Road, Neutral Bay, soon after midnight (AEST).

About 10 minutes later the car, travelling west along Falcon Street, in Crows Nest,
hit another woman, aged in her 20s.

The driver lost control and the Volvo ran into a traffic light pole.

The 18-year-old driver, from Wollstonecraft, was trapped in the vehicle for about 30
minutes before he was freed by emergency services.

All four were taken to Royal North Shore Hospital with minor injuries.

Investigators hoped to interview the driver later today, police said.
